Game premise and characters

Librarian of Aquademia: The Forbidden Grimoire is a 2D side-scroller shoot'em up game designed to be beginner-friendly, particularly for players new to the bullet hell subgenre. The story follows a young librarian from Aquademia, who must confront the Anti-Arctica, a mafia organization that has stolen a crucial grimoire. The player controls two characters, Loppy and Fionn, each with distinct abilities and playstyles.

Character abilities

As Loppy, you can attack enemies from a distance, making it easier for players who are new to the mechanics of shoot'em up games. This character emphasizes ranged attacks, allowing you to maintain a safe distance while firing at foes. In contrast, playing as Fionn requires a more aggressive approach, as her short-range attacks necessitate getting closer to enemies, adding a challenge for those who prefer a more intense experience.
