Legato

First-person dungeon crawl

Legato is a first-person action RPG in the style of King’s Field, set in the kingdom of Veyr. You wake in a cave with a cold fire, a pack, and little memory of how you got there. In the village of Dren, people are forgetting names, faces, and why they came. The King has been missing for seven years, and his city’s gate is closed to anyone who can’t answer for what they carry. People tell different, sometimes partly true, accounts of what happened.

You travel through villages, dungeons, and the outskirts of the capital. The world includes a marsh with fen houses and reed-cutters, a gallows wood, a walled manor, and a camp of pilgrims turned away from the city gate. Villagers follow daily rounds, and storms move in over the hills.
