Layer8Problem

The Comedy of IT: Welcome to Layer8Problem

In Layer8Problem, players step into the chaotic life of a SysAdmin. You are Müller, the only competent IT administrator at GlobalCorp, navigating the challenges of office life amid user blunders and constant disruptions. Your day-to-day primarily revolves around surviving until 4:30 PM. The humor and absurdity of your environment thrives as you manage resources while addressing the notorious "Layer 8 Problem", the human element that creates most IT chaos.

Navigating Bureaucratic Madness with a Smile

The game unfolds as a satirical, text-based decision-making experience, where every interaction is a choice with consequences. Emails, phone calls, and even your coffee breaks demand strategic thinking. Each decision influences three critical survival metrics: Aggro, Faulheit (laziness), and Chef-Radar. Keep these values in check, or face the wrath of the office dynamics. A high Aggro level might lead you to launch your monitor out the window, while unchecked laziness raises suspicion from your boss.
