Last Haul

Game premise and mechanics

Last Haul is a mining roguelite set in open 2D space. In the game, you control a small ship and mine asteroids for resources while trying to return to base. Enemies will attempt to stop you during your runs. The game contains 20 zones, each featuring unique bosses, monsters, and objectives, designed to prepare you for an endless mode where you must survive as many waves as possible.

Resource management

You gather resources to buy upgrades during your runs. These upgrades can be for your weapon, ship, or economy. Choices you make about spending resources during your runs affect your chances of survival, requiring you to strategize whether to enhance your weaponry or improve your resource management skills.
