Lanternbound

A low-magic fantasy RPG

Lanternbound is a PC RPG set in Elarion, a medieval-like world where magic is fading and the gods have been silent for more than a century. You start as a nobody and choose whether to pursue a quest to save the world or live as a farmer dealing with a poor harvest. The story is non-linear, and not every choice leads to victory.

A world in decline

Elarion’s kingdoms are fracturing as old roads and temples crumble. A corruption called the Blight spreads into forgotten places, while people carry on without the miracles once associated with the gods. Spells are less reliable, divine power is almost unheard of, and magical gifts can weaken with use. Ancient relics may still hold fragments of great power, and old faiths persist through ritual, memory and devotion.
