Horror in the toy mall

KUNIS is a horror game set in the abandoned Kunimoto Toy Mall, where you search for a trading card that was never released. Six months after the mall’s biggest Meet & Greet ended with its doors chained shut, you enter through a staff door carrying a camcorder. The plush cats, called Kunis, look like toys on the shelves, but they aren’t.

Through the camcorder

Everything you see is through a late-90s camcorder. The mall is dark, and when the lights fail, the image turns grainy and murky. Your torch becomes your only light. The Kunis can be anywhere, but you rarely see them. When one does appear, the game puts weight on that encounter rather than relying on frequent jump scares.
