Game premise and style

KNOCKOUT ARCADE is a 2D pixel art fighting game. Players fight to become the best and save the arcade. You can choose from six characters to take into combat. The game features a local versus mode and a sidescrolling campaign mode where you fight against CEO Bruce Krauzer.

Combat mechanics

Combat in the game integrates platforming and beat-em-up gameplay. It uses a streamlined control system designed for both new and experienced players. You can chain together combos and use a KO Meter to perform special moves and super moves. There's also a Rush Cancel mechanic that allows you to cancel actions into a combo continuation by spending part of your meter.
