Kingdom Courier

Game premise and mechanics

Kingdom Courier is a turn-based strategy roguelite focused on delivering mail for the King in a kingdom where trust is scarce. You plan routes, manage a horse and wagon, and make strategic decisions about how to navigate variables like time, resources, and threats while trying to fulfill your contracts.

Route planning and decision making

Each run involves plotting a course across a branching hex map. Players must decide between taking faster paths that may leave them vulnerable or slower routes that risk missing deadlines. Bandits present a challenge that requires choices about how to deal with them, whether through payment or sacrifice of cargo.
