King of the Hat

Hat-Based Mayhem in King of the Hat

King of the Hat is a thrilling 2D party platformer for PC that pits 2-4 players against each other in an epic battle centered around hats. In this chaotic arena, your hat isn’t just an accessory; it’s a vital part of your avatar's soul. Players must master the art of throwing, defending, and baiting with their hats to eliminate opponents while preventing their own demise. The straightforward mechanics offer plenty to enjoy for all skill levels, making it a competitive party experience.

Compete for Soul Domination

At the heart of gameplay is the concept that your hat contains your soul. When opponents jump on your hat, you lose, literally. This layer of strategy compels players to think carefully about their movements as they throw hats to attack or create defenses. The flaming hat mechanic adds an extra twist, where your projectile becomes invulnerable, allowing it to both defend against incoming assaults and to strike at foes. This creates a fast-paced back-and-forth that keeps matches intense.
