Kinetype

Navigate the ASCII Universe in Kinetype

Kinetype transports players to a minimalist ASCII roguelite realm where your keyboard is your lifeline. Forget traditional gaming controls; here, your commands typed into a terminal shape your survival journey. Traverse procedurally generated grids, collect resources, and race against time to reach the extraction point, all while testing your typing skills against hostile enemies.

Tactical Command Execution for Survival

In Kinetype, your choices matter. Scavenge code fragments to unlock a variety of powerful abilities, each summoned by typing its name. Abilities like ZAP, which deletes nearby threats, and MINE, which sets traps for pursuers, become essential tools as you navigate danger. Every command typed reshapes the grid, transforming your tactical approach with each run. The ability to visualize paths with PING or pause enemies with SILENCE offers layers of strategic depth.
