A football career under pressure

KickOff is a life sim about a kid from the outskirts trying to earn a living playing football while paying for rent and his mother’s treatment. Rent starts at $90 a day and rises by 25% every two weeks. Her treatment costs $50,000 in installments, the same amount as buying the house, so paying for both isn’t possible.

You manage each day around money, energy, hunger, hygiene and spirits. These needs drain as time passes, but the clock only moves when you take an action. Sleeping is free; other activities cost money. You clean your room, eat what you can afford, work, train and take penalties.
