The Haunting World of Kibreet

Kibreet | كبريت is a psychological arabfolk horror game that plunges players into the unsettling landscapes of rural Saudi Arabia in the early 2000s. As a father grappling with estrangement from his wife and daughter, you return to your family’s isolated village. Shattered silence surrounds your home after an unsettling late-night accident, heightening the tension as you carry a box of matches meant for your daughter's birthday candles.

Navigating Silence and Shadows

From the moment you enter the village, an oppressive atmosphere envelops you. Each empty home evokes memories of loss, shame, and something sinister lurking just out of sight. The focus on exploration invites players to uncover both family history and the spirit of anguish that weighs heavily on the environment. Every corner of this ruined landscape harbors a mix of nostalgia and dread.
