A Descent into Repetition: JPEG

JPEG captures the essence of narrative walking simulators on the PC platform. In this short but poignant experience, players traverse a series of days that blur the line between routine and madness. Clocking in at about 30-40 minutes, it delivers a haunting exploration of solitude encapsulated within the confines of an apartment. Each click of the mouse pulls you deeper into an unsettling reality loop where repetition breeds more than just familiarity.

The Routine That Binds

As players assume the role of the protagonist, morning begins as predictably as the last. Each day unveils moments dictated by prompts, driving the character through mundane activities. Yet the apartment, once an unchanging backdrop, evolves subtly. Details you missed yesterday emerge today, creating a sense of unease. This loop, though monotonous, invites players to question their own perceptions and the very nature of reality itself.
