文字探し-JP-Not Every Letter Is a Letter is a mouse-driven letter-matching game for PC. You search through a box of 1,000 paper slips for 46 hiragana, from “あ” to “ん”, and match each one to its place on a guide. The other slips show katakana, kanji, or fake letters, and variant forms can be easy to mistake for the target.

You don't need to read Japanese. The hiragana table stays at the top of the screen, and each unfilled cell shows a faint outline of the character to find. The task is to compare shapes and locate the one written in exactly the same form.
