Game premise and structure

Journey TD is a tower defense game that integrates roguelite elements. You build towers using different elements and abilities across multiple runs, aiming to shape the maze your enemies must navigate. Each run presents a new blend of towers, elements, and strategies, while your overall progress carries forward, allowing for persistent growth and enhancement of your towers.

Tower building and elements

In the game, you unlock and draft towers from six available elements, with five accessible from the start and the sixth requiring completion of specific objectives. Each element has its own identity and provides various effects, including direct damage, poisoning, burning, crowd control, and support. The synergy between towers is emphasized, as you can create elemental combos and optimize your builds by managing damage and armor types to effectively handle waves of enemies.
