Javi Romero of the Dead

Retro horror beat ’em up

Javi Romero of the Dead is a PC horror beat ’em up set on Halloween night in 1987. The church clock in Villasombría strikes midnight and stops, the dead rise, and someone prevents the sun from coming up. With the police at a costume contest, the army stuck in traffic and the mayor eaten, Javi Romero takes on the undead with a barbed-wire baseball bat and a pistol holding five bullets.

You fight through cemeteries, cursed towns and other places over a night that stretches from the first graveyard to the place where the night began. Javi has no training or superpowers, and the goal starts with dealing with the zombies in front of him.
