IT'S NOT A DEER

Hunting mimics

IT'S NOT A DEER is a first-person horror game about hunting in a forest where mimics hide among ordinary animals. You inspect your targets, watch their behavior and use a thermal imager to look for signs that an animal is a mimic. A gunshot can test your suspicion, but it won't kill the creature.

Gear and supplies

Hunt animals for meat and hides, then sell what you collect at the cabin. Spend the money on supplies and gear upgrades before heading out again. Your earnings also unlock new areas on the map.
