Ironhallow

A machine in a fantasy world

Ironhallow is a PC strategy and combat game set in a medieval land of castles, sorcery and monsters. You play an engineer torn from another world, the only person there who knows how to build machines. Each descent, you take your ship, the Aegis, into monster territory, mine ore and aether, and defend the ship until it can lift off.

Defences and enemies

Hordes attack in lanes, with thousands of monsters on screen at once. Grunts crowd forward, brutes break through walls, spiders race past your front line, and wardens shield other enemies from harm. You build sci-fi defences against them, including plasma turrets, repeaters, long-range lancers and oil mortars. Mines, lures, barricades and pyre gates add other ways to slow or burn the horde.
