Incarnation

Play to Lose: Understanding Incarnation

Incarnation is a mouse-only reverse roguelike platformer where death serves as an essential mechanic. Players navigate through levels by utilizing various celestial powers. However, as they progress, these powers diminish, forcing a transformation into human form. This unique premise challenges players to reconsider their strategy every time they advance.

Celestial Powers: The Tools of Your Trade

In Incarnation, the game’s primary draw lies in its celestial powers. Each level presents new opportunities, but players must strategically use these abilities to overcome obstacles. With every successful completion, one power is sacrificed, increasing the stakes. The challenge lies in balancing progress while managing your diminishing arsenal, do you play aggressively or take a safer, more methodical approach?
