Game description

IconicQuest is a pixel-art, top-down MMORPG that emphasizes real-time, skill-based combat in a shared persistent world. Players engage in a combat system where each swing and evasion is calculated; the game requires players to learn enemy patterns, positioning, and preparation to survive. Combat is designed to be impactful, rewarding active participation over automated gameplay.

World design

The game features hand-placed zones with specific locations and landmarks that have meaning and history. Teon Town, for instance, is situated at the intersection of four roads, each leading to distinct environments: a purposeful wasteland, a frozen northern region sealed by a mysterious inscription, and a half-buried fortress where a watcher named Gareth resides. The world is designed for exploration, and every location serves a purpose.
