Building a car company

I Run a Car Factory is a PC car-company management game set in the fictional nation of C-country. Starting in 2000, you take over a failing manufacturer with three million in capital, one assembly line, a few dozen workers and no brand recognition. You develop cars, set their prices and sales channels, and try to build the company over the next thirty years.

Designing cars

Each car is assembled from eight modules: chassis, powertrain, body, cockpit, safety, energy, electronics and vehicle calibration. The game includes more than 300 components, with options ranging from torsion-beam suspension and drum brakes to solid-state batteries and silicon-carbide controllers. You can pursue combustion, hybrid or electric powertrains, each with its own parts.
