Hypocrisy

A World of Dark Choices in Hypocrisy

In Hypocrisy, players navigate a dystopian landscape dominated by a tyrannical regime. After losing everything (your family, dreams, and sense of self) you step into the shoes of a vengeful protagonist, determined to hunt down the despot responsible. This narrative-driven roguelite challenges you to come to terms with your own morality as you embark on a perilous quest for justice, testing the limits of your character and resolve.

Confronting Your Inner Demons

Each ascent through the game leads you to six vertically layered worlds, each overseen by an enemy representing core human vices: Wrath, Desire, Greed, Obsession, Envy, and Pride. The encounters with these foes serve as both combat trials and moral dilemmas, forcing players to confront not just external threats, but also the darker aspects of their own psyche. In this way, Hypocrisy intricately weaves together game mechanics and narrative depth.
