Hushwell

A descent through the Rootways

Hushwell is a 2D metroidvania for PC. You wake deep in the Rootways and head downward, entering 14 areas where one of the great ones holds echoes that should have returned to the earth. In this world, the dead once came back as new life, but nothing has returned for a hundred years.

Areas and bosses

The descent passes through more than 120 hand-painted rooms. New abilities open routes into places you couldn’t reach before, sending you back through earlier areas as you gain access to more of the Rootways. Each area’s great one is a boss, and the 14 bosses each fight differently.
