How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Kill Line

Surviving the Dark Humor of How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Kill Line

In "How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Kill Line," you’ll navigate the absurdity of modern life through the lens of a roguelike card game. Set against a backdrop of dark humor, this game challenges you to survive the consequences of your choices as an ordinary office worker caught in a ruthless system where errors lead to a swift downfall. Each card played is a decision that can keep you alive in the moment, or set you up for future problems that stack like a corporate agenda.

The Mechanics of Survival: Health Equals Money

This game operates on a simple yet profound mechanic: your health is also your currency. If your health dips below the Kill Line, your run ends, cementing the stakes. Every potential death is visible, every consequence laid bare. You will face decisions that prompt immediate safety but may compromise your future, pushing you to weigh risks carefully. The balance between sustaining your current state and managing future decline is a true test of strategy and foresight.
