Hot Seat Triage

The Cognitive Challenge of Hot Seat Triage

In Hot Seat Triage, the art of emergency medicine meets the adrenaline of arcade gameplay. This PC title places players in a high-stakes simulation where the mental acuity of real-life emergency situations crashes into cognitive biases. As you select patients and make critical decisions, you'll grapple with the limitations of your own judgment, all while racing against time.

Real-Life Decision-Making Translated to Gameplay

Each scenario in Hot Seat Triage is a carefully crafted puzzle reflecting real-life medical cases, designed and reviewed by an active emergency physician. The game draws on established clinical decision-making literature to create scenarios that challenge players' instincts. With each patient presenting a countdown to deteriorating health, the urgency to assign the correct priority (CRITICAL, URGENT, or STABLE) heightens the gameplay experience dramatically.
