Story and premise

红楼梦：林黛玉与北静王 is a Chinese-style interactive story game for PC. You play as Jia Baoyu, who returns to the Rongguo Mansion after waking from a broken dream with his memories gone. The Grand View Garden is familiar, but its residents seem to be keeping secrets. You explore the garden and make choices that shape a branching story based on characters and scenes from Dream of the Red Chamber.

The story revisits moments such as Baoyu and Daiyu’s first meeting, Daiyu burying flowers, Baochai chasing butterflies, Qingwen tearing a fan, Xiangyun sleeping among peonies, and the Imperial Concubine’s visit. These scenes sit within a mystery involving the sentient jade, a gray-silver bracelet, and the appearance of “Duxu.”
