ABOUT THIS GAME
Hokm on PC
Hokm: Card Game of Kings is a four-player partnership card game set against illustrations based on the coffeehouse paintings of the Shahnameh. Two partners sit across from each other, and the hakem, the player who names the trump suit, starts each round by looking at five cards.
The suits represent the four houses of King Fereydun’s family: hearts are Iraj, diamonds are Fereydun, spades are Tur, and clubs are Salm. The card table represents the world Fereydun divided between his sons.
