Heroes Must Die is a PC role-playing game set in a cyberpunk world ruled by a theocracy. You play as a resistance member, hunting heroes controlled by the church and rescuing goddesses imprisoned and drained of their divine power. The story gradually uncovers a lie buried for 500 years.

Combat and upgrades

The game combines role-playing with bullet hell shooting. You can carry multiple weapons and switch between them during combat; each weapon can be upgraded and modified for different battles. Skills come in sets that you can combine, evolve and upgrade to shape your fighting style.
