Her Name Was Fire

Confronting Grief in "Her Name Was Fire"

In "Her Name Was Fire," players navigate the psychological landscape of grief in a captivating action roguelike format. Set against a backdrop of Tarotpunk aesthetics, the game engages you in a battle against emotional abstractions known as Major Allegories. As you traverse through the turmoil of five stages of grief, you'll face unique challenges and adversaries that demand quick thinking and strategic planning.

Crafting Powerful Builds Through Ashes

Central to the gameplay is the crafting mechanic. When you vanquish the void creatures that populate each area, you collect their ashes, which serve as a currency to unlock spells and upgrades. This mechanic encourages players to mold their playstyle as they progress, forming unique builds tailored to tackle the different Major Allegories encountered throughout each run. The more ash you collect, the greater your potential for devastation in future confrontations.
