Heat

Sandbox survival

Heat is a PC sandbox survival game with tower defense elements. You search procedurally generated maps for resources and useful gear, craft tools, and build a base. The survival systems are designed around hands-on tasks rather than simple recipe crafting.

Modular tools

Crafting centers on a modular tool system. You find and retrieve components, then combine them in different ways to make tools. Experimenting with those parts is a core part of play: the system is intended to let you discover solutions rather than follow a set of straightforward recipes.
