Heart of the Forge

Blacksmithing in the Oak

Heart of the Forge is a PC crafting game about an apprentice blacksmith who arrives to study under master Longbeard. The workshop sits inside a giant Oak, but Longbeard is asleep and the forge is empty, so you have to take orders and rebuild the business yourself.

Mining beneath the workshop

You descend into the mine under the Oak to gather iron, coal, wood, and rare minerals. You carve paths through the rock, placing ladders and lanterns to get around. Inventory space limits how much you can bring back in one trip.
