An idle village on your desktop

Hatchbar is a PC idle game set in a pixel village displayed in a thin strip along the bottom of your screen. Adventurers hunt while you work, and the tiny monsters called Hatchlings hatch from eggs and grow up. A journal reveals the village’s story one entry at a time, including the threat of the Rift Lord watching from above.

You can click buildings to go straight to them, tap warm eggs to hatch them, or pet Hatchlings. They talk back, and some get annoyed if you keep petting them. The village board gives you small requests to work toward. A 25- or 50-minute focus timer awards an egg when it ends.
