Gift-Giving Strategy in Gugong

Gugong transports players to 16th century China, a time when the Ming Dynasty was rife with corruption and political intrigue. As members of powerful families seeking influence, you'll engage in a game of strategy where gift-giving is both essential and tactical. Set against the backdrop of the Forbidden City, your mission revolves around complex interactions with officials while navigating a crumbling political landscape.

Navigate the Forbidden City’s Intrigue

In Gugong, players interact with the elaborate bureaucracy of the Forbidden City by exchanging gift cards. Your goal is to offer cards of higher value than the ones received, a mechanic that demands strategic thinking. Each turn presents choices: will you invest in jade, help construct the Great Wall, or perhaps secure advantageous decrees? The decisions you make will shape your family's fate and influence over the empire.
