Guestbook

Internet mystery game

Guestbook is a 2D Internet simulator set in late 2003. You play as a resident of Shackton, a Massachusetts town where paranormal beings are causing people to disappear. You investigate mysteries on a simulated desktop and Internet, moving between hundreds of websites and apps.

Cases and tools

With the help of Lovelace, your artificial intelligence companion, you use notes, a functional radio and other apps to solve cases across the clearnet and dark web. The mysteries range from fixing a bottomless pothole to stopping a dark web cult of cannibals. The radio includes entire shows.
