Game type and premise

怪談寺 is a horror visual novel set in a temple where players encounter various characters who share scary stories. You, as the player, find yourself lost at a temple known as the "Kaidan Temple." There, you will listen to unsettling tales from four characters, each presenting different types of horror, including traditional horror, human horror, sci-fi horror, and horror comedy.

Characters

The game includes four distinct characters, each known by a handle rather than a personal name. The characters are: a seemingly ordinary priest, a woman referred to as Bloody Emily, a self-proclaimed genius young man called the Black Fallen Angel, and an unsettling anonymous taxi driver. Their unique personas contribute to the different stories you will hear.
