A New Take on Metroidvania Mechanics

At its core, Gridvania introduces a grid system that radically alters how players interact with the environment. You can place and pick up items in various locations on the map, which is crucial for solving puzzles scattered throughout this 2D landscape. This approach enhances both the creative and strategic aspects of gameplay, allowing players to think critically about their surroundings. It’s not just about reaching the end; it’s about how you approach each challenge.
