Grace

A dark fantasy Metroidvania

Grace is a hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania set in an interconnected, decaying world. Two rivals search for forbidden power while pursuing the same goal, but only one can prevail. You control one character at a time as they explore the map, fight enemies and bosses, and seek permanent upgrades.

Switching sides

Your rival moves through the world independently and competes for the same upgrades. If you meet and lose a fight, you take control of the victor instead. That switch changes your character, equipment, momentum, and control of parts of the map, giving you a new position from which to continue.
