Lost in the Woods: The Premise of Gone Astray

Gone Astray plunges players into the heart of a chilling wilderness in this first-person survival horror experience. You step into the shoes of Josh, a typical outdoors enthusiast, who sets off for a Sunday hike with his loyal dog, Trigger. What begins as a routine outing takes a dark turn when Trigger bolts away, leading Josh into an unsettling and eerie environment. Alone and disoriented, the line between reality and nightmare blurs as night falls, and the sense of dread escalates.

A Haunting Atmosphere Surrounded by Nature

Set in the retrospect of the 1970s, the game features meticulously crafted interior and exterior environments, designed to evoke an overwhelming sense of foreboding. Each location has been developed with attention to detail, drawing players deeper into an atmosphere that merges realistic settings with psychological tension. The contrasting comforts of familiar landscapes quickly give way to disquieting surroundings, showcasing how nature can both inspire and terrify.
