Gold Rush

Frontier strategy

Gold Rush is a real-time strategy game for PC set on the Wild West frontier. You start a match with a few miners, gather gold and build up a camp into a boom town while competing with other fortune seekers. Its design draws on 90s RTS games, with an emphasis on positioning and timing over fast micromanagement.

Maps and tactics

Maps are randomly generated, so you’ll scout the surroundings and adapt your plans to the landscape. Battles can shift back and forth as you choose from different unit types and tactics: send jockeys out quickly, use landmines to slow an opponent, or push forward with riflemen and cannons. The game asks you to choose a strategy quickly as the match develops.
