Territory capture in Turkic mythology

Gökbörü is a 3D arcade action game for PC set in Turkish and Central Asian Turkic mythology. You leave safe ground, draw a line across an arena, then close it back on your territory to claim and cleanse the enclosed land. In the opening chapter, you need to claim 90% of the arena to win.

Erlik, Lord of the Underworld, has broken through to the surface. His shadow demons, the Körmös, spread corruption and hunt you while you draw. You play as Kızagan, the hero of the prologue, and Baybörü, commander of the Gökbörü, the Celestial Wolf’s army. Bürküt, messenger of the sky god Ülgen, guides you. Chapters are framed by cinematic cutscenes in the spirit of the Dede Korkut epics, which you can rewatch in the Story Gallery.
