GOHEI

Wordsmithing as Your Weapon in GOHEI

In GOHEI, your vocabulary doubles as your weapon in a creative twist on the roguelike genre. Set in a world plagued by darkness, players step into the role of a Miko, equipped with the Gohei, a sacred tool. The game blends traditional Japanese folklore with innovative word-association mechanics, challenging players to battle legendary yokai like Kappa and Yuki-onna with the power of language.

Battle Through Word-Association Mechanics

Each round presents a new thematic challenge. Players must think quickly to select a word connected to the theme. If the AI recognizes your association, you inflict damage on the yokai. The beauty lies in the game's flexibility. There's seldom just one right answer. This encourages creative thinking as players forge a path through increasingly complex battles.
