God Complex

Game premise and mechanics

God Complex is a strategy game where you take on the role of a godling tasked with raising a civilization and competing against a rival god's universe. You build up your civilization over five ages, starting with weak and simple characters and eventually commanding powerful entities that can manipulate reality itself.

Civilization building

You draft mortals at an altar and assign them to positions that best utilize their strengths in combat. Each run is characterized by developing your civilization from humble beginnings to a more complex pantheon with enhanced abilities. This growth is defined by the transformation of your board, where the same souls take on new forms as you advance through the ages.
