A raycast ASCII roguelike

GLYPHTRIP is a PC raycast ASCII dungeon-crawling roguelike built around a descent through increasingly difficult-to-describe places. You move through procedurally generated floors and hand-drawn pages, learning what the dungeon’s glyphs do as you go. Instructions are sparse, and the deeper you descend, the less reliable they become.

Dash combat

Your weapon is a short dash called RAM. Hitting an enemy sends it flying, and you can throw enemies into walls, each other, pits, or across rooms. Momentum passes between bodies, so a crowded room can quickly become unstable. Some things can’t be rammed directly, making other objects useful as projectiles.
