Desktop pet battles
Glims is a PC battle-pet game set on your desktop. Your glims walk along the taskbar and live in a 3D house that you decorate. They earn gold on their own, and when you call, they can defend your screen from an invasion or enter a 20-floor dungeon.
House and offline play
Decorating the house gives you a place to arrange your glims between battles. The game is free and works offline.
