Gap City Chase

Crime in Lanbu County

Gap City Chase is a 2.5D top-down tactical crime game set in Ragtown, a remote backwater of the Ideal Republic. You play Bucky, a small-time crook who steals, breaks the law, and runs errands for the County Party Secretary. There are no guns or stealth takedowns, so getting through each job depends on melee weapons, a rare frag grenade, and planning your route.

Police and wanted levels

Attacking a cop or civilian, or being reported by a civilian, raises your wanted level. As it climbs, police fire becomes more accurate. You can’t win a straight firefight: hide, run, circle around, or strike with a melee weapon instead. Police communications between districts are delayed, giving you a window to move before information catches up.
