Game premise and mechanics

Gang Takeover is a real-time, top-down territory strategy game set in a city controlled by five rival gangs and the police. You control one home turf and a crew while aiming to capture blocks and businesses throughout the city. Your goal is to fight rival defenders, break their control, and claim each block to generate income for future expansions.

Combat and expansion

Combat involves moving through the city in real time, attacking rival territories, and holding ground during takeovers. As you capture businesses, you earn money to upgrade and defend your territory. Rival gangs expand their control by attacking and reinforcing their territories, prompting you to strategize your moves carefully.
