Foundlings

Unveiling the World of Foundlings

In Foundlings, a fresh take on the RPG genre, players embark on a poignant journey toward maturity, self-discovery, and forgiveness. Set against the backdrop of a war-torn medieval landscape in 12th-century England, this PC game intricately weaves nostalgia from classic SNES RPGs with modern storytelling elements. As events unfold, young healer's apprentice Agnes and a remorseful ex-executioner named Frant cross paths through the capricious design of a local feudal lord. Their mission is to uncover the malevolent head of a mages' guild, suspected of disturbing the surroundings.

Traversing a War-Torn Landscape

Exploration forms a significant component of Foundlings. Players traverse a richly detailed medieval world filled with mystical forests, abandoned battlefields, and ancient burial grounds. Each location is steeped in history, waiting to be uncovered. Encounter various characters (nobles, peasants, and fellow outcasts) all while feeling the repercussions of the ongoing Revolt of 1173. The environment and narrative intricately connect, highlighting the tumultuous time period and its effect on both the land and its inhabitants.
