FOOTBALL EXECUTIVE 27

Sporting director role

FOOTBALL EXECUTIVE 27 is a PC football management game in which you run a club’s football operations as its sporting director, not its head coach. You assemble the football leadership, build the squad and set the club’s long-term direction. The head coach independently picks the lineup, makes substitutions and controls match tactics, so your job is to appoint the right coach and judge their work.

Squad planning and recruitment

You assess the squad’s strengths, weaknesses and tactical roles, then decide who has a future at the club and where new players are needed. Recruitment means balancing the quality of the squad against the club’s finances, rather than signing targets without regard to cost.
