A paper village

Foldvalley is a tile-laying building game for PC, set inside a pop-up storybook. You place meadows, woods, fields, lanes and streams on a printed hex map. Tiles fold into features such as hedges, trees, cottages and windmills, turning the page into a village.

Only streams and rocky ridges need to connect to matching terrain. Other tiles can go wherever you like, though matching every side of a tile earns a little extra. If the tile in your hand doesn’t fit the spot you want to fill, you can put it in a reserve slot and swap it back later.
