Flight Deck: Pacific 1942

Pacific naval strategy

Flight Deck: Pacific 1942 is a real-time naval strategy game set in the Pacific during 1942. You command US Navy or Imperial Japanese Navy forces, with ships modelled on their real 1942 counterparts. Battles range from the carrier duels at Coral Sea and Midway to night actions near Guadalcanal.

Carrier operations

Finding the enemy is a race against time. Send scout planes, cruiser floatplanes and PBY flying boats to search through the fog of war, then use contact reports and last known positions to plan a strike. Launch too soon and the target may be gone; wait too long and enemy bombers may arrive first.
